Are you a joyful, energetic, and reliable caregiver looking for a long-term role in Columbia Heights? This Family Assistant position is a wonderful opportunity to support a busy family with two children, ages 5 and 3. The 3-year-old attends a school within walking distance, while the 5-year-old rides the bus about 10 minutes from home, with pickups required between 4:30–5:30 p.m. The primary focus of the role will be picking up the kids, bringing them home safely, and managing dinnertime. In addition, the family would love support with kid-focused grocery shopping, meal planning and prep, laundry, and keeping the children’s rooms tidy before pickup. While car/driving is not required, comfort traveling with the children via public transportation is important. The ideal candidate is upbeat, playful, and has a great sense of humor. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for someone excited to become a consistent and trusted part of the family’s daily routine.
