Job Title : Web Accessibility Specialist (WCAG 2.0 AA, Section 508, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Location : Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience conducting web accessibility audits using assistive and automated tools, including JAWS, NVDA, WAVE (WebAIM), ZoomText, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Accessibility Checker.
- Hands-on experience coding and validating accessibility using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience performing UI accessibility testing across web applications.
- Experience developing clear and detailed technical documentation related to accessibility findings and remediation.
- Experience conducting accessibility audits for digital documents, including PDFs, Microsoft Word documents, and web pages.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience applying Section 508 and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) standards, including W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA), Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA), User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG), and Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG).
