General Position Summary

Records and maintains the underlying business transaction details that reflect and document the financial activities of the organization.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
• Directly works with multiple departments within the supply chain, accounts receivable, corporate programs, and treasury operations to capture information for the monthly close process.
• Develop periodic reporting on key business performance metrics and analyze trends and variances.
• Analyze and interpret data relating to financial and operational performance.
• Communicate with employees at all levels of the company. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or financial/data analysis 
• Exceptionally proficient in reporting, managing, and analyzing data 
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles 
• Proficient in MS Office and general ledger packages 
• Strong business acumen 
• Strong organizational and analytical skills 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Strong critical thinking skills 
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
