Job Type : Freelance Rate : $25 per hour, 20 hours per week Start Date : ASAP Observer is looking for a regular freelance editorial assistant to support the lifestyle vertical. We’re seeking someone to assist with CMS prep, photo research and collages, editorial calendars and additional administrative tasks. This is a part-time, remote position for ~20 hours per week. The editorial assistant will report to the Lifestyle and Travel Editor. This is a role for an early-career journalist looking to gain experience in the media industry. The ideal candidate should have an interest in lifestyle topics, as well as familiarity with WordPress, SEO best practices and Canva. The WorkPlease note that this isn’t a writing position. Our rate is $25 per hour, with an expected work schedule of 20 hours per week. This contract role is limited to U.S.-based applicants.
