Summary: Operates as a liaison between the classroom and home settings in education, child development, physical and mental health, safety, and immigration support as needed to build connections with families. This position carries a caseload of 30-40 families. Family Advocate will spend no less than 75% of work time (30 hours per week) on activities directly related to working with or supporting families. Primary duties include planning and implementing the recruitment, orientation, and enrollment of eligible children and families; and advocating for families.

This job operates in an early childhood school and professional environment. This role continually uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Guadalupe Centers serves a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults, who may have mental or behavioral health problems.
