Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various events, ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale social gatherings. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate logistics for various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
Manage budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines for each event.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives for the event.
Select and negotiate with vendors for services such as catering, decoration, and audiovisual equipment.
Create and manage event timelines and checklists to ensure timely completion of all necessary tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event execution.
