Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various events, ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale social gatherings. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Manage budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines for each event.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives for the event.
  • Select and negotiate with vendors for services such as catering, decoration, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Create and manage event timelines and checklists to ensure timely completion of all necessary tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event execution.
