Job Description

The Driver/Transportation Assistant (DRV) at Claiborne Senior Living, LLC is a Part-time, hourly position on every Tuesday and Thursday! This individual contributor role is located in Summerville, South Carolina and is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services for our residents. • Operate company-owned vehicle to transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assist residents with getting in and out of the vehicle safely.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and has the necessary supplies and equipment.
• Communicate with residents and their families to gather transportation needs and preferences.
• Assist residents with their daily activities and needs as requested.
• Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents/incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service to all residents and their families.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a clean criminal background check and pass a drug screening.
• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
