Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent, remote basis within the UK. This role is open to entry-level through highly experienced professionals (0 15 years) who are passionate about building scalable data pipelines and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

• Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams

• Optimize data storage and retrieval for large-scale datasets

• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data infrastructure

• Document data architecture and engineering processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

• Strong experience with Python, Java, or Scala

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases

• Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks

• Understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design

• Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, Snowflake or GCP )

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
