St John's Child Care Center has openings forChild Care Providers for full time and part time positions.

Requirements:

  • Be responsible person of at least 18 years of age.
  • Must enjoy working with children birth to 12 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check - including fingerprints
  • Be willing to complete paid training within 1st 3 months of hire
  • Be willing to become 1st Aid and CPR certified
  • Will work Monday through Friday - no weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
  • Assist children with mealtimes and snacks
  • Help children keep good hygiene
  • Change the diapers of infants and toddlers and assist children with potty training
  • Organize activities so that children can learn about the world and explore interests
  • Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
  • Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interest

Preference will be given to those with experience working with children and/or educational background in Child Development. Recent background check/fingerprinting desired. Pay is negotiable. FREE meals for all employees. NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS! Days and hours will be arranged with the employer. Paid training for Basic Childcare Classes and CPR/First Aid. Discount on childcare is for full-time workers, but is negotiable if we have room for their child.

St. John's Child Care is open from 6:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. (NO WEEKENDS)

Full time will work 40 hours per week, days and hours to be arranged. For part-time positions can be 16 and older - hours are usually 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Salary to be discussed with the employer - based on qualifications.
