We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Help set up and break down catering events as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
• Support the team in various tasks within the kitchen and dining area as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role
