Job Description

Position Summary:to provide a safe and positive place for parents/guardians to keep their children before or after school until they can be picked up. Hours are Monday-Friday; 6:30-8:45am & 3:00-5:30pm. Early out days (once a week); 2:00-5:30pm.

Starting Pay: $13.00 an hour.

• Encourage children to be aware of and to accept others
• Encourage courtesy and respect for others and oneself
• Increase self-confidence/independence and strengthen leadership skills and the ability to work as a team
• Teach responsibility for oneself and one’s actions
• Stimulate awareness of emotions and feelings of expression
• Provide a positive adult role model

Essential Functions:

• Coordinator will use appropriate language and show respect for children.
• Coordinator will be clean and have a neat appearance.
• Coordinator will be well prepared.
• Coordinator must be dependable and be able to meet the needs of a diverse group of children.
• Coordinator must keep daily attendance list for parents to sign and record the time of pick up.
• Coordinator must keep documented; emergency numbers, a list of who is authorized to pick up the children.
