Job Description

Athletic Trainer-25/26 School year. The Athletic Trainer will evaluate and advise individuals on recovery and prevention of athletic-related injuries and illnesses, focusing on musculoskeletal injury prevention and early intervention. This role is essential in maintaining the health and peak performance of student-athletes. Assignment Details: + Start Date: ASAP + Duration: Through early January 2026 + Hours: Approx. 1:30 PM - 6:30/7:30 PM (dependent on practices/games) + Weekly Hours: ~40 hours/week Responsibilities: + Provide on-site care during practices and games + Evaluate and treat athletic injuries + Maintain accurate documentation of injuries and treatments + Set up fields and equipment for practices/games + Deliver pre- and post-game athlete care Requirements: + Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Training + Virginia State License to practice Athletic Training (required prior to start) + CPR Certification + Minimum age: 18 years + 3+ years of athletic training experience preferred + Must remain on-site until the conclusion of all practices and games Benefits Through Amergis: + ??
