Job Description:

Client is seeking experienced Enterprise Agile Coaches to support the Agile Product Transformation within the MTA-IT Agile Center of Excellence (CoE). This consulting role focuses on hands-on coaching, mentoring, and guiding product teams, leaders, and stakeholders toward Agile maturity. The Agile Coach will drive adoption of Agile and product-centric practices while aligning with organizational transformation goals. This role has no direct people management responsibility and reports to CoE leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coach large-scale Agile product transformation initiatives across complex enterprise environments
  • Partner with CoE leadership to design and execute Agile transformation roadmaps
  • Coach Product Teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Design and deliver Agile training, workshops, and hands-on coaching sessions
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and metrics-driven insights
  • Guide teams on technical best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and XP practices
  • Drive alignment and collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Standardize Agile ceremonies, practices, metrics, and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align)
  • Act as a trusted Agile advisor to teams and mid-level leadership

Mandatory Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in Agile coaching roles
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Strong knowledge of Agile product transformations in large, complex organizations
  • Experience with Agile metrics, team health, velocity, and transformation reporting
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Certifications (Mandatory / Strongly Preferred)

  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF)
  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Or equivalent Agile certifications

Desirable skills:

  • Experience transitioning organizations from Waterfall to Agile
  • Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
  • Product-centric and outcome-driven delivery experience
  • Strong background in organizational change management
  • Metrics-driven coaching and data-informed decision making
  • Passion for mentoring teams on technical excellence (TDD, pairing, CI/CD)
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
